Hello, thank you for your interest in Gaia Grove Eco-Camp and Permaculture Center.
We are an intentional community in the making located on 92 pristine wooded acres along the upper banks of the Sante Fe river in south western Bradford County, FL.
Our evolving vision is to create a functional, healthy, vibrant example
of permaculture community in Florida. To us this means basing
intentional community on egalitarian values, healthy living,
sustainable technology, and right livelihood, including cottage
industry and possibly income-sharing. We wish to be very involved with the
wonderful local community by holding permaculture classes, workshops,
potlucks, music events, and other local culture-enhancing events often.
We are striving to be sustainable through growing food, buying locally,
limiting consumerism, developing cottage industries, raising hens for
eggs, using composting toilets, investing in alternative energy and
rain catchment, using well water, and outreaching to the community. We
are inspired and visionary and need more healthy, inspired, like-minded people!
We are actively looking for new people to help pioneer this amazing new community opportunity. We need a core group of dedicated, hard-working community builders. We are especially needing people who are interested in starting and maintaining income-creating ventures and small businesses. Cottage industries, retreats on our pristine 92 acre property, and workshops are all fertile possibilities.
We also offer Eco-Rentals on our pristine 92 acre forest property and have rooms for rent in our shared house. We are just minutes, yet worlds away from interstate I-75. If a peaceful, ecologically-conscious and affordable nights rest in a sub-tropical paradise is what you are looking for on your next trip through north central Florida , we are here here for you. We welcome volunteer help with gardening, land beautification and alternative building projects during your stay. Go to the links at left for more detail.
